1. Introduction
Welcome to Flipverse, an interactive social platform that blends reading, writing, and discovery. Flipverse allows users to explore books, share insights, build libraries, engage in real-time collaborative writing through our Livebook feature, and participate in a global community of readers, authors, and creative minds.
These Terms of Use (“Terms,” “Agreement”) form a legally binding contract between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Flipverse Inc., together with its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors (“Flipverse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using Flipverse’s website, mobile application, or any related services, tools, or features (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and our accompanying Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any additional policies referenced herein.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use or access Flipverse.
2. Eligibility and Access
Minimum Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to create an account or use Flipverse. In certain jurisdictions, users under 18 may require parental or guardian consent. Capacity and account ownership rules apply as described in the Terms.
3. Account Registration and Security
When you create an account on Flipverse, you agree to provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, notify Flipverse of unauthorized use, and accept responsibility for activities under your account. Flipverse may require identity verification for certain activities.
4. Overview of Flipverse Services
Flipverse provides: Timeline (social posts & short writings), Library (save & organize), Marketplace (third-party listings), and Livebook (real-time collaboration). Features may be modified, introduced, or discontinued at Flipverse’s discretion.
5. User Content and Intellectual Property
Ownership: You retain ownership of your original content. License: By submitting content, you grant Flipverse a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, reproduce, adapt, distribute, and display your content while it remains on the platform. Deletion removes public visibility though residual copies may persist in backups.
6. Marketplace Terms
Marketplace listings are third-party transactions. Flipverse is not the vendor and disclaims warranties for third-party items. Disputes must be addressed with the vendor/payment processor.
7. Acceptable Use Policy
Users must not post unlawful, hateful, harassing, or infringing content; impersonate others; use bots for access; or otherwise interfere with the Services. Violations may lead to removal or restrictions.
8–16. Liability, Indemnity, Modifications, Governing Law, and Misc.
These sections describe disclaimers, limitations of liability (to the maximum extent permitted by law), indemnification obligations, update procedures, Delaware governing law and courts, and general provisions including survival and waiver clauses.

Our Mission and Philosophy
Flipverse exists to empower readers, writers, and thinkers to share inspiration, creativity, and ideas in a community built on respect, expression, and collaboration. Our goal is not to restrict expression, but to ensure Flipverse remains safe, constructive, and uplifting.
Scope
Applies to all content, interactions, and users. Violations may lead to content removal, restrictions, suspension, or termination.
General Principles
Respect, good faith contributions, avoid harmful behavior, credit sources, and encourage positivity.
Content Standards — Prohibited
Zero tolerance for hate speech, harassment, threats, sexual exploitation, self-harm promotion, intentional misinformation, copyright violations, spam/scams, and illegal goods in the Marketplace.
Livebook Collaboration
Respect contributors, avoid deleting others' work without consent, credit collaborators, do not use Livebook for spam or offensive content. Moderators may pause or terminate sessions that violate rules.
Marketplace
Vendors must be accurate and legitimate. No counterfeit or illegal listings. Flipverse can remove listings or restrict access for violations.
Privacy, Reporting & Enforcement
Do not share private contact details of others. Report violations via in-app Report or support@flipverse.app. Appeals can be submitted within 14 days of moderation notices.
AI-Generated Content
AI usage is allowed if disclosed and not misleading. Flipverse may label or restrict AI-generated content that causes confusion or misrepresentation.
Crediting & Fair Use
Always attribute authors and sources, use quotation marks, respect fair use, and include co-author credits in Livebook metadata.
Consequences
Range from content removal to permanent bans or legal escalation in severe cases.
Continuous Improvement
Guidelines may be revised; continued use implies acceptance of updates.

1. Introduction
Welcome to Flipverse (“we,” “our,” or “us”). Flipverse is a global platform that connects readers, writers, and thinkers through shared inspiration, reading experiences, and collaborative storytelling. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using Flipverse, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and consent to the practices it describes. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
2. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to: all users of Flipverse, including readers, authors, creators, and Marketplace participants; all Services offered through the Flipverse app, website, Library, Livebook, Fand Marketplace.
This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, applications, or payment processors you access through Flipverse links (such as Marketplace vendors), nor to content created or shared by other users outside Flipverse’s control. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third parties you interact with through Flipverse.
3. Information We Collect
We collect several types of information to provide, personalize, and improve Flipverse.
3.1. Information You Provide Directly
Account Information: Name, username, password, email address, profile photo, and bio.
Contact Information: Email or phone number for verification, notifications, or communication.
Profile & Content: Posts, comments, bookmarks, Livebook contributions, book lists, and reading activity.
Marketplace Information: If you make or facilitate a purchase, we may collect transaction-related details such as billing address, order history, or vendor details (note: payment processing is handled by third parties).
Communication Data: Messages sent through in-app chat, feedback forms, or support tickets.
Optional Data: Interests, reading preferences, favorite genres, or author subscriptions.
3.2. Information We Collect Automatically
Device Information: Device model, operating system, app version, and unique identifiers.
Usage Data: Interactions with the app (e.g., time spent reading, library additions, Livebook participation, likes, comments).
Log Data: IP address, access time, pages viewed, crash reports, and diagnostics.
Location Data: General location (country, city) inferred from your IP address.
Cookies & Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, analytics tools, and pixels to understand usage patterns and improve our services.
3.3. Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from vendors or affiliates (Marketplace vendors may share limited transaction or order status information), social media or login providers (if you sign up via Google, Apple, or another social platform), and analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase) to understand engagement and improve user experience.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for operating and maintaining the Services, improving and personalizing Flipverse, communicating with you, enabling the Marketplace, and for legal and security purposes.
Examples include authenticating users, enabling social features, facilitating Livebook collaboration, providing personalized recommendations, sending notifications, and preventing fraud.
5. Legal Bases for Processing
For users in the EEA, UK, or similar regions we rely on consent, contractual necessity, legitimate interests, or legal obligations as lawful bases for processing personal data.
6. How We Share Information
We may share your data with other users (public activity), vendors and partners (to support operations and Marketplace transactions), service providers (hosting, support, analytics), for legal and safety reasons (lawful requests, safety), and with your consent for other purposes.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we remove your public data and anonymize personal identifiers. Some information may remain in secure backups for limited retention periods (typically up to 90 days).

We employ industry-standard security measures such as HTTPS/TLS, secure authentication, audits, and restricted access. However, no platform is completely secure; you use Flipverse at your own risk.

Your information may be transferred to countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required by law, we use safeguards like standard contractual clauses.
12. Children’s Privacy
Flipverse is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided info in violation, contact support@flipverse.app.
13. Links to Third Parties
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or apps; we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before sharing info or transacting.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When significant updates occur, we will notify users via in-app notice, email, or updated date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitute acceptance.
